A Simple Day

Some days it's good to do nothing.
No deadlines to meet, no chores to complete, no lists to check twice.
A day to lounge in the comfort of your pajamas and woolly socks, to gaze out of the window and watch the falling leaves drift slowly to the ground.
A day for sipping cups of tea and curling up in a comfy chair with a portly feline at your side.
A simple day.

That is the life we want more and more of. When you get my age there are now more and more of these days. LOL

I yearn for a day such as this! Retirement is often busier than being employed.:-)

Your photos are so vibrant they draw me in.
I cannot sit around as trying to get so many chores done before our hot weather hits us here in Australia. Once it is hot I find I have no energy for anything.
Saying that I have just put my feet up for 10 minutes looking at your other photos .

It's always good to be reminded that it's OK to do nothing. Thanks. Oh, I rake my tea with cream please.
