Spring Thoughts

Surely we are getting closer....

The Robins are in abundance, busily pulling the earthworms from the moist soil, the nests are getting feathered, the Pussy Willow buds are awaking.
Not long now.

The calendar says the days are passing. No snow in the forecast in the next week. Spring must be next!

I am SO looking forward to spring, even though we've got lots of green around here. Wonderful reminder that spring is not long now. :-)

Saw a robin the other day and a chickadee kept looking in one of the birdhouses to decide upon a new home. I have birdhouses all over the place but wasps and hornets keep building nests in them. The birds then won't build a nest in them. Any ideas? How are all the turkeys?

I have bluebonnets and larkspur poking their heads out, but we are sure to have another cold snap.

Thanks for the Clydesdale ad, I hadn't seen it.

Birds makeing their nests are a sure sign Spring is nearly here.
You are planning Spring and we are planning Autumn. An amazing world we live in.

Lots of robins here also and the bulbs are sending up their leaves. I embrace winter. Without it our springs wouldn't be the same. Nice photo.
